This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer billing, collections, and cash applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving smooth receivables management, working directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party billing platforms. Person will play a key role in safeguarding cash flow, minimizing aged receivables, and maintaining strong customer relationships through responsive and professional communication.\nThis is a high-ownership role best suited for someone who is proactive, meticulous with data, and thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nCustomer Communication & Account Support\n\nRespond to customer inquiries related to account statements, payment status, and invoice clarifications.\n\nProvide banking and remittance details as needed to facilitate timely payments.\n\nCollaborate with the Collections Specialist on customer follow-ups, focusing on accounts < $100K or < 90 days overdue.\n\nMaintain accurate contact information and payment preferences for customer records.\n\nCollections & Issue Resolution\n\nMonitor customer invoice activity on third-party platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Taulia).\n\nCoordinate internally with the Billing and Collections teams to address disputes, mismatches, and delayed payments.\n\nEscalate high-risk accounts or aged balances to the Collections Lead with appropriate context.\n\nTrack resolution progress for assigned escalations and ensure timely closure.\n\nCash Application & Reconciliations\n\nPerform daily cash application by reconciling customer deposits with open invoices.\n\nInvestigate payment discrepancies or unidentified receipts and coordinate with customers or internal teams for resolution.\n\nSupport month-end close activities by ensuring accurate cash postings and clean AR ledgers.\n\nReporting & Platform Oversight\n\nPrepare and distribute daily AR/AP Flash Reports and contribute to aging trend analysis.\n\nMaintain a log of third-party billing platform activity and reconcile payments regularly.\n\nProvide input for dashboards or weekly status reports to highlight AR performance and collection risk.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable.\n\nHands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and third-party billing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Taulia).\n\nProficient in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring tasks with consistency.\n\nEffective communicator who can coordinate well across finance, sales, and customer-facing teams.\n\nSaviynt is an amazing place to work.
