API access.
Create an account or log in on api.headcountlabs.com. The free plan includes 1,000 jobs a month.
API keys
Create and manage keys at api.headcountlabs.com/data/keys. When you are signed out, that page sends you to login. Send your key with each request as a bearer token: Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>.
Never send a password or API key by email, including to Headcount Labs support. Do not put a key in browser code.
Plans
1,000 jobs a month are free. Paid plans run from $10 a month for 5,000 jobs up to $500 a month for 500,000 jobs. Each plan includes API requests equal to half its job count. See pricing.
MCP
The MCP server at https://api.headcountlabs.com/mcp uses the same account, with OAuth sign-in. See the MCP page.
