Monthly list prices for API job records, from each competitor’s public pricing page on 7 October 2026: the cheapest plan that covers that many jobs. Competitor 1’s 250,000 price is estimated from the per-job rate of its 200,000-job plan. Competitor 2’s prices are its billed-annually rates, counting one credit as one job; above 25,000 jobs it quotes on request.

Frequently asked questions
What counts toward my monthly jobs?
Every job you receive counts toward your monthly jobs, including a job you fetched before. API requests are counted separately, and each plan allows half as many requests as jobs.
Is the MCP connector priced separately?
No. The API and the MCP connector share one price list. The connector uses your plan's monthly jobs.
What happens when I reach my plan's limit?
Calls past the limit are refused with a usage-limit error until the month resets, unless you turn on overage. Overage is off by default, needs a paid plan, and charges the per-1,000-jobs price in the table. With overage on, searches keep working after your plan's jobs run out, and the extra jobs are billed at month end on your subscription. You can set a monthly overage limit in dollars: once overage reaches it, searches stop as they would with overage off, until the next month or until you raise the limit. There is no limit unless you set one. Turn overage on or off and set the limit on your account's Spending page, by asking your agent (MCP tool set_overage), or with PUT /v1/account/overage, for example {"enabled": true, "monthlyLimitUsd": 25}. get_usage shows overage jobs and dollars so far this month and how much of the limit is left. You can also upgrade at any time: you pay only the price difference, the extra jobs and requests are added at once, and your billing date stays the same. To move to a smaller plan, choose it on your account's Billing page: you keep your current plan and everything left in it until your next billing date, then the smaller plan starts at its lower price. Nothing is refunded for the current month, and you can keep your current plan at any time before then.
