What you get
A backfill fills your job board with open jobs from employers’ own career sites and applicant tracking systems. Each Headcount Labs job merges duplicate postings of the same opening and links to the original posting, so you can send applicants straight to the employer.
1. Size the backfill for free
Count the jobs before you fetch them. Counting uses no jobs from your plan.

Authorization: Bearer <your key>Adjust the filters until the count fits your plan. Useful filters for a job board: country, state, city, title or q, work_arrangement, employment_type, has_pay=true, has_application_url=true and posted_since. See filters and location matching.
2. Load the jobs
Page through GET /v1/jobs with the same filters and limit=250, passing next_cursor back as cursor. Store each job under its job_id.

For each job, show title, employer_name, locations and description, and link the apply button to a posting's application_url or posting_url. When a posting's attribution.required is true, show its attribution text and link with the job.
3. Keep it fresh
After the first load, read only what changed from GET /v1/jobs/changes, starting with since set to when the load began and then passing resume_cursor as after. Add created jobs, replace updated jobs, and take down expired jobs. The ingestion strategy covers polling and recovery.
4. Pick a plan
Every job returned counts as one job, including repeats, and each change event counts as one. Start on the free plan (1,000 jobs a month); paid plans run from $10 for 5,000 jobs up to $500 for 500,000. See pricing and rate limits.
