API DOCUMENTATION / ATS PAGES AND JOB BOARDS

ATS pages and job boards

Understand source identity in the API without assuming that platform names or posting URLs are company IDs.

A source label identifies a board

Posting source is a source or board identifier, while source_posting_id is that source’s posting identifier. The combined job job_id and company UUID represent different identities. Keep each field separate in your application.

One combined job may contain several postings

The combined-job response carries associated posting rows. Filtering by one source does not trim the returned postings array in the inspected reader. Decide whether your UI shows the combined job or each source posting, and label those units clearly.

Compare the source evidence

Keep the posting URL and source label available for verification. A platform or board name alone does not establish source coverage, employer identity, or a partnership. The coverage page lists the 112 job-board platforms Headcount Labs reads, with job counts.

Names are not company matches

The employer-name field can remain unmatched while company_id is null. An ATS platform name or similar display string alone does not establish a canonical company match.
